I was raised in a pretty artistic environment. My parents owned art galleries and art schools around LA. So I spent a large portion of my life surrounded by everything that is art. It is pretty much the only life that I know. I started drawing very early on (My favorite topics then included mostly unicorns and buddha princesses.)
My parents started their art school when I was 8 and I started taking class there since then until I graduated high school. Almost everyday, I would be picked up from school and taken to the art school, where I would spend hours drawing and painting. I became an art instructor assistant there, helping my mentor Ann Phong with her classes. I began teaching my own classes before I graduated from Art Center. I still teach there now. It has become one of the most inspiring and influential things in my life and part of my strong motivation to make art. I feel really fortunate to be able to help my young students and also learn and grow through them.

My night of painting on a scroll,
I was recently invited by a friend from Human Pyramids to contribute art to a international magazine. The magazine will include lots of art images painted by several talented street artists and illustrators.
